About the Journal

Contemporary Research and Practice in Artificial Intelligence is published by Runnymede Academic Press, an independent academic publisher committed to rigorous, open peer review and rapid dissemination of high-impact research.

Aims and Scope

The journal covers the full spectrum of artificial intelligence research, from foundational theory to applied systems. Topics include machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, autonomous systems, knowledge representation, AI ethics, explainability, fairness, and the deployment of AI across science, industry, and public services. Interdisciplinary work that bridges AI with cognition, social science, or domain-specific applications is particularly encouraged.

Article Types

The journal accepts Original Research articles, Review Articles, and Rapid Communications. All submissions are subject to double-blind peer review conducted by subject-matter experts. Accepted articles are published on a continuous rolling basis.

Runnymede Academic Press is committed to the highest standards of research ethics and publication integrity. We follow the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Online Access

All articles published in this journal are freely available to read online for a minimum of 12 months from the date of first publication. No subscription or access fee is required during this period. After the minimum free access period, articles may be incorporated into a print edition distributed to subscribers. A submission fee applies to accepted manuscripts;.
